Seed swap Gothenburg

There is so many kinds of plants we can grow. Both tasty and beautiful, annual and perennial, and the idea behind the Facebook group Fröbytare Göteborg (literally ”seed swappers Gothenburg”) is to preserve and share the diversity and the knowledge that exists in the people who are dedicated to cultivation in Gothenburg and its surroundings.

Here the members can offer each other seeds, arrange and message each other about different meetups and events in Gothenburg and share tips about the preservation of  crop diversity, the spreading of knowledge concerning useful plants and to encourage each other to try new or old things.

Everybody is encouraged to share their seeds without expecting to get other seeds or money in return.
