At Lyktan you can buy locally produced, organic goods and Fair Trade products. The surplus from sales is used to support various sustainable groups and projects in Gävle.
Lyktan runs a service where leftover fruit is saved and donated. Sometimes seed and seedling exchanges are also arranged.
Spices are sold here in bulk to encourage zero waste. The staff can inform you about the healing properties of plants. On site there is also a corner where you can sit and discuss, share knowledge and read books about the environment, plants and sustainability.
The business’s goal is to contribute to an ecological society and a fairer world. You can contribute to their work by becoming a member. The membership fee is SEK 100 per year.
